We follow ski alpinist Victor Lourdel on his search for freedom in some of the world’s most unforgiving vertical terrain. Climbing rarely-attempted lines on ice-choked couloirs and towering alpine faces, Victor pushes through unpredictable conditions and high-consequence decisions, where even a single mistake could be fatal. 

With minimal gear and no room for error, he moves through the mountains on skill, nerve and instinct, putting everything on the line for the feeling of freedom in The Vertical.
